1-Day Barista Training Class: Espresso & Milk Skills (Level 1 & 2)

Our Espresso & Milk Skills class unites Level 1 and Level 2 barista training in a single-day, action-packed workshop. This hands-on course welcomes home coffee lovers, working baristas, and anyone aiming for a career in specialty coffee. You’ll train at the most advanced barista training facility in the United States. Our lab features numerous state-of-the-art commercial espresso machines, precision grinders, and the latest specialty coffee technology. Throughout the day you are guided by the most current, effective teaching methods in the industry.

Step-by-step coaching covers puck prep, brew ratios, shot extraction, grinder calibration, milk texturing, latte-art basics, and efficient bar workflow. You’ll learn the science behind every move and practice until it feels natural. By day’s end you will pull consistent espresso shots, steam silky microfoam, pour a latte art ringed-heart, prepare every classic espresso drink, and follow best practices to clean and maintain your equipment. You’ll also take home a 24-page binder packed with class notes, resource materials, and step-by-step guides that reinforce everything you learned.

Highest Training Value

Most barista training programs split their lessons into two classes and still offer less depth. Our one-day, eight-hour workshop delivers a broader, more complete curriculum in one convenient session. You’ll master proven methods that define today’s specialty coffee standard, guided by top-rated teachers with more than ten years of barista experience each. Small group sizes give you plenty of machine time during class. The practical, real-world skills you master here transfer instantly to any setting—at home or on a busy café bar.

With more than fifteen years of teaching experience and thousands of graduates worldwide, Texas Coffee School continues to raise the bar for coffee education. Reserve your seat today and experience the difference!
