SOCIAL CONTENT CREATOR | Arlington, TX | Part Time

Your work won’t just fill a content calendar—it’ll directly contribute to people launching real businesses, changing their lives, and strengthening their communities.

About Us

Texas Coffee School is a nationally recognized leader in coffee business education. For the past 15 years, we’ve helped hundreds of people start and grow their own independent coffee shops. We operate with a small, passionate team that takes pride in collaboration, quality, and a strong work-life balance. We’ve kept a 5-star Google and Facebook rating for 15 years straight—and that’s no accident. Our students fly in from across the U.S. and around the world because of what we’ve built. Now we’re looking for a part-time Social Content Creator to help us take our brand reach to the next level.

The Role

This is a part-time, in-house position (up to 20 hours per week), ideal for someone who’s skilled in visual storytelling, social media, and digital content creation. You’ll create short-form videos, visuals, and compelling content for our digital platforms, working closely with our CEO, coffee educators, and marketing partners. This role is perfect for someone who wants the impact and ownership of a small team—without the grind of a full-time job.

This is an in-house position, with in-office work expected 3 days per week in Arlington, TX. A typical weekly schedule is:

Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Fridays: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturdays 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create Visual Content: Capture and edit engaging video and still content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and our blog.

  • Social Media Management: Plan, post, and engage with our community across platforms to boost reach and connection.

  • Content Strategy Execution: Partner with our ad agency, external specialists, and CEO to bring strategies to life.

  • Live Class Content: Be onsite during class days to capture moments, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with our voice, values, and goals.

  • Analytics & Insights: Monitor content performance and share actionable learnings to improve engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in professional content creation, digital marketing, or social media management—agency or in-house. Must be able to hit the ground running. (Note: Personal social content creation does not meet the requirement.)

  • Portfolio Required: Please include a portfolio with examples of short-form video content, social posts, and brand storytelling work.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field preferred.

  • Tools & Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut (or similar), plus strong iPhone photo/video shooting and editing skills. Apple/Mac user proficiency required.

  • Social Fluency: Strong grasp of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging content trends.

  • Creative Problem Solver: Able to take initiative, think strategically, and work independently.

  • Location + Schedule: Must be local to DFW Metroplex and able to work in-office 3 days/week (including Friday & Saturday).
