Q: Tell us about the unique business concept for Roaming Grounds.
A: Roaming Grounds is a mobile, hand-crafted drink company focused on bringing caffeine happiness to small town South Dakota. We provide a one-day-a-week option to a few small towns with no other [specialty coffee options]. With great customer service and top notch espresso, we have a thriving business.
Q: What made you want to start a coffee business?
A: I have been in insurance and finance my whole adult life. I wanted to bring my customer service experience and fun to my small communities. Get out of the 9-5 and into the all the time!
Q: What did you find most valuable in attending the 3-Day Coffee Business Master Class?
A: Learning the correct operational processes and procedures for opening and closing. Learning what a true good shot of espresso should taste like. I learned so, so much from the class!
